现在以cn后缀的域名真的是和萝卜一样便宜，当然吸引了不少人去购买一个域名，作为自己的博客的域名，我有几个同学就有买域名，但是国内找个好点的空间确实非常难，万网的话，稳定、速度都是很好的，但是，动不动就是4位数的，我们这些学生阶级怎么受得了呢？
我以前在google上搜索free web hosting 找到一些比较好的国外的免费主机，我也试着申请过，使用过一段时间，现在发现有一个网站提供的空间不错，那就是your-websites.com，大家可以去申请一个，完全免费，又可以绑定自己的域名。申请地址： http://www.your-websites.com/members/order/。
如果你要绑定域名的话，你要修改你的域名的DNS服务器，改成它们提供的服务器，在你申请成功之后它们会给你邮件，说是48小时之内DNS会成功，其实不要那么久，只要几分钟就可以成功。
现在我介绍一下它们的服务吧，真得非常强！可以绑定3个子域名，有awstat的流量统计系统，一个10M（不算在100Mweb空间里面的）的MySQL数据库，支持Perl脚本......除了这些，我们关心的是速度，虽然服务器在美国，但是速度非常不赖，应该说比一般的电信访问网通的站要快不少！
现在我简单说明一下使用方法，如果你英语还可以，一般来说都会操作的。但是有一点要注意一下，就是在File Manager里面，你点击文件名的时候，页面的右上角会出现一些功能按钮，比如delete，edit，rename，copy，move等，这时侯你可以对文件或者文件夹进行操作，但是如果你想要进入这个文件夹，那么你就点击文件夹前面的那个文件夹图标。我刚开始的时候不知道这个，怎么发现一直进不了文件夹。当你删除了里面的文件或者文件夹的时候，你删除的东西会保存在Trash里面，如果你要的话你可以马上恢复回去，非常人性化。
大家在装MT的时候，要注意.cgi和.pl文件的属性要改成755，否则不可以运行的。我也没有用过FTP上传，它们提供web上传速度已经非常快了，我们可以直接上传.zip.和tar.gz后缀的文件，在上面可以直接解压缩，速度非常快，比上传一个一个文件要快不少。
非常推荐大家去这里弄个免费的虚拟主机，应该说是我看到的最好的免费的国外主机，双志强，硬盘应该是SCSI的（我用探针测，速度非常快）。功能完全和那些$8 per month的一样强，或者更强。
P.S.:今天是2007年的4月18日，这几天这个免费的空间一直无法访问，不知道是什么原因，ping还是可以ping通，就是访问不了......如果写博客的话，可能会有点郁闷，但是对于免费的来说，已经不错了。
